We have an exciting opportunity for End User Compute Engineer to join us on a permanent basis. We are open to location and can offer hybrid working. 

In this position you will be a EUC Engineer for our Endpoint Management service, covering configuration management of Windows 10/11, MacOS, iOS/iPadOS and Android devices, ensuring compliance with security and hardening standards, while safeguarding end-user productivity. This area covers disciplines such as automated provisioning of new devices, seamless installation of software and security updates, design, and implementation of policies to ensure secure usage of the endpoints.

Within the role you will deliver smarter and faster ways of working through digital workflows and automation within Service Operations. This could include integrations with MDM\MAM systems, AD, Monitoring systems and MSP tools. Remove manual tasks and provide automatic allocation and provisioning for end-to-end processes like JML and provide a self-service facility.

What will you be doing?

  • Focus on technical operations and delivery supporting our IAM (Identity Access Management) tools used to provide SSO
  • Key area of attention will be on the Security that will underpin platforms and systems. Ensure that any new design or strategy is in line with financial standards and regulations
  • Critical to understand and address BYOD security, through Application Control, Containerisation, Conditional Access and possible use of models such as Zero Trust: never trust, always verify
  • Provide expertise and guidance on the use of all Office 365 applications and services
  • Utilise InTune’s cloud-based functionality to enforce both mobile device management and mobile application management best practices
  • Automate aspects of the device lifecycle including deploying and maintaining software, responding to security threats, distributing policies and settings along with analysing resulting data

Is this you?

  • Track record of designing and delivering End User Compute solutions within a technically complex and dynamic environment, specifically that required to support multiple business projects
  • Experience of successfully engaging management and groups of technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience of working with Virtual workspace beneficial (AWS WorkSpaces, Appstream, AVD)
  • Familiarity with key infrastructure technologies and best practice including LAN, WAN, Voice, Windows, Active Directory, Virtualisation and Security
  • Experience within a regulated environment
  • Experience and understanding of ITIL and continual service improvement
  • Excellent level of knowledge and experience of hosting technologies, Identity Management and Office365
  • Good level of knowledge and experience of Security products
  • Experience with troubleshooting complex environments
