Care Home Administrator - Dungannon
The Home
Nightingale Care Home is a 35-bed nursing unit, sharing facilities and services within a purpose-built, single storey building with a 10-bed residential unit. It is situated in quiet, residential area of Dungannon, overlooking the Black Lough, close to local shops and public transport.
Nursing Unit
Categories of care include old age, physical disability and mental disorder (excluding learning disability or Dementia) – always has a nurse on duty who is in charge – providing respite and permanent care places
Residential Unit
All our rooms are suitable for wheelchair users.
The Role
Provide efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to the home, including document and report production, dealing with telephone enquiries, diary management, payroll input meeting, greeting visitors as well as other administrative tasks as appropriate. |
Handle external and internal enquiries, recognising the level of importance of particular enquiries or issues and applying the appropriate prioritisation. Pass issues and enquiries on for appropriate action to ensure the highest level of service. |
Ensure that all information and documentation is correctly processed in line with policies and procedures in order that regulatory, statutory, compliance and financial requirements are met. Maintain the audit trail ensuring up to date and accurate information can be provided or accessed as required. |
Assist in updating staff and resident records and central and local database systems, ensuring accuracy of all data input. |
Ensure the effective operation of delegated administrative processes and procedures. |
Please note, we do not offer sponsorship for this role and the role holder must be able to work full-time hours, that is, 37.5 hours per week across Monday to Friday.
