The Vacancy
This role is ideal if you:
Have a keen eye for analytics and are confident using SQL Server. With an ability to work on simple web app development and offer ideas on how to improve processes
Are looking to move away from older SSRS reporting systems and take on a key role in a large education organisation, being the go-to person on data for the professional services team
Want to use PowerBI and the extended Power Platform. With full training and an extensive CPD programme offered, plus the opportunity to gain Microsoft qualifications year-on-year
As a member of the BI and wider Information Services Team, you’ll be responsible for the development and maintenance of the college’s reporting solutions, recognised as the go-to person for data by both Professional Services and Senior Leadership

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
Developing, maintaining and monitoring the reporting systems used across college
Providing advice & information on data queries by the leadership and services teams
Producing Business Intelligence required to develop and monitor the College’s goals
Implementing the latest technologies to ensure that the delivery and accessibility of Business Intelligence remains relevant and modernised

Are fully confident in deriving, designing and producing interactive dashboards for college staff at all levels
Have been an effective business partner and are recognised as a key link between professional services and their data
Have enabled staff at all levels to effectively make data-based decisions by raising the accessibility of data sets by contributing to the college's ‘single source of truth’ data warehouse
Enthusiastically engaged with the departments' dedicated CPD programmes
Built Strong working relationships and supported colleagues where possible

Be proficient in using SQL Server
