Salaries:
All entrants will receive accelerated career and salary progression up to £40,666 per annum subject to satisfactory performance. These roles attract a competitive pension and benefits, lifestyle rewards discounts and full funding towards a degree or masters’ qualification. Through our employability team we also offer partial funding towards driving lessons if you do not currently have your license.

About the roles
You’ll be welcomed by the Livin team as one of several new entrants to our business in a diverse range of roles that have been designed to grow our future leadership capability.
Assistant IT Solutions Engineer
Assisting with the implementation, development, and support of applications to streamline internal and external processes, you will support the business in creating and maintaining an insight-based culture, improving services and performance by developing fit for purpose business intelligence dashboards and reporting. You will also contribute to the operation of an efficient IT Service Desk, providing users with an exceptional experience.
Governance Adviser
You will work with the Executive Director of Corporate Services and other senior managers to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and our adopted code of governance and continuously improve governance within Livin.
The role will also provide an advisory, monitoring and assurance function for a range of core governance functions, including risk management and compliance and knowledge and information management, and support the legal and equality, diversity and inclusion functions as required.
Policy and Strategy Analyst
You will provide professional advice and support to the Chief Executive and other members of the Executive Management Team, undertaking high-quality research, preparing briefings and communicating effectively with key stakeholders. In addition, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of the business strategy through proactively analysing the operating environment, assessing and mitigating risk, maximising opportunities, translating strategy into policy and action and monitoring progress and impact.
Each role has been structured to build your skills and knowledge with exposure to a diverse range of activities that support our core business as well as receive targeted experiences on transformational projects designed to meet our strategic objectives. All of this whilst obtaining a degree or masters qualification.
You will:
Receive targeted learning and development opportunities with support from experienced professionals in their area
Participate in change programmes where you will support the delivery of our strategy and key business priorities.
Work collaboratively and build trusted relationships across the organisation.
Support our day-to-day operations, showing creative flair and bringing a fresh perspective to existing processes and methodologies.
Your ideas and perspective will be invaluable to us in challenging existing ways of working and building for the future.
About you
To be successful in these roles, we are looking for:
Governance Adviser and Assistant IT Solutions Engineer:
A university leaver with high potential evidenced by a first or upper-second class degree in a relevant discipline.
Policy and Strategy Analyst:
A university leaver (all roles) with high potential evidenced by a first or upper-second class degree in a relevant discipline.
OR
Sixth form/college leavers) with high potential evidenced by A*/A or B grades in all subjects. Typically, the subjects studied at A Level or equivalent Level 3 will preferably include Business Studies, Politics or other Social Sciences.
Don’t be put off if you have changed your career goals after your studies!
Although IT qualifications are critical for the IT post, for the Governance and Policy/Strategy roles if you have studied other subjects but now want to pursue a career in social housing and have transferable skills, we will be keen to hear from you and find out about you and how you can benefit our organisation.
