Media & Broadcast Technician

Salary £20,000 to £24,000 per annum dependant on skills and experience (plus London Weighting)

This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.


To manage and maintain all equipment and services in the remit of media and broadcasting equipment


  • To use video editing and transcoding in order to assist students in their media and broadcasting work
  • Work on both Windows & Mac based systems to keep a live and up to date log of equipment management, maintenance, and bookings
  • Be able to proactively maintain and manage the upkeep all UCFB media and broadcasting equipment
  • Assist and manage a training programme working with academic staff and students in order to upskill them in the usage of media and broadcasting equipment
  • Setting up of both camera and radio studios in order for students to learn both in class or for extra curricular activities
  • Support academic delivery of broadcast and media-based sessions
  • Be student focussed providing support for successful completion of the course
  • Work across several teams to meet predetermined outcomes to a high standard
