At Southwark College, part of NCG, there are two exciting senior leadership roles we are recruiting: Assistant Principal Skills & Adult Education and Assistant Principal Curriculum (16-19 lead). You will be joining a dynamic Senior team led by the Principal, Vice Principal of Curriculum & Student Experience and Assistant Principal of Student Service. This is a great opportunity to join Southwark College, an ambitious leadership team, aiming to move forward from Good to exceptional education experience and outcomes for students.
The two Assistant Principals will be motivated by student success, great with stakeholder management skills, and committed team players who are willing to be accountable for their areas. With this motivation, the Assistant Principals will be able to deliver the College’s, and therefore the NCG Group’s, strategic objectives and mission demonstrating a commitment to NCG's vision in all we do. The Principal is open to applications from ambitious middle management leaders who are looking for their next step as well as more experienced leaders who would like to broaden their experience.
As part of this exciting Assistant Principal role you will:
Line managed and lead curriculum faculties
Be a great organiser, with a good eye for detail, having high expectations and being able to lead colleagues effectively through the quality processes of external awarding bodies.
Be a great team player.
Have experience in working with local stakeholders: employers, civic leaders and local councils.
