This is a Permanent, Part Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

This is a great opportunity for an organised and personable individual who has a thorough and meticulous approach to work to join our friendly and committed Supporter Care Team.

You will focus on delivering the very best supporter experience possible to enhance our relationship with supporters to attract long term support for the Hospice.

We are looking for an individual with the following key attributes:

  • Dedicated and have a passion for the work of the Hospice
  • Supporter centred with an ability to listen and respond to supporter needs
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
  • Attention to detail
  • Accuracy and speed when processing data  
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team

The position is part-time 22.5 hours per week, worked over 3 days.

St Gemma’s Hospice is an independent Leeds-based charity and one of the leading hospices in the UK, providing expert care and support for local people with life-limiting and terminal illnesses. We offer care to patients, families and carers in the Hospice’s In-Patient Unit, through the St Gemma’s community team, and at our Out-Patients.

We have around 300 employees working across the main Hospice site in Moortown, Retail Hub in Bramley, a large chain of charity shops, and out in the community. We offer career opportunities both in our multi-disciplinary clinical team and in a wide range of non-clinical roles, all of which contribute towards local patient care. St Gemma’s Hospice has a team of approximately 800 volunteers, working in a variety of roles supporting departments throughout the organisation.
