The Vacancy
Braefield Care Centre is situated in the picturesque twin village of Kells and Connor. The surrounding rural area, centred on agriculture lends to a therapeutic environment for those living there. Braefield Care Centre provides services for individuals with physical disabilities, mental health illnesses, old age, frailty and dementia.
Braefield Care Centre has 4 separate units presently with one unit under development:
Killybegs : 8 bedded Mental Health Unit - led by a Mental Health Nurse Unit Manager. This service has its own individual activity therapist.
Kells - 21 bedded Dementia Nursing Unit
Ballee - 17 bedded Nursing Unit
Connor - a 10 bedded Mental Health Unit - led by a Mental Health Nurse Unit Manager. This Service has its own individual activity therapist.
