The role

The purpose of this role is to provide leadership to teams within Petrus and support the business growth of Petrus services in line with our vision, 'Together we will end homelessness and create safe places where all people can flourish'.

You will uphold and promote the values of Petrus in all of your work and represent the Regenda Group professionally with internal and external partners.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to provide quality services to vulnerable people with complex needs and ensure you drive a high performance culture within your teams.

 

The right fit

  • You will have experience of leading diverse teams in attaining and exceeding KPI's with the ability to adapt, plan and take effective action where performance may fall below expected standards.

 

  • Using your proven leaderships skills you will inspire, motivate and influence your teams to deliver bespoke high standards of customer service.

 

  • Safeguarding will form a priority in your role as service manager, you will confidently be able to identify and manage safeguarding concerns.

 

  • Employing your coaching skills, you'll encourage your teams to utilise their professional curiosity to support service users to be safe, well and achieve goals which are personal to them.

 

  • Through one to one supervision, team meetings, skill sharing and training you will support your team to growth personally and professionally, always striving to reach their full potential.

Petrus provides support services for people facing homelessness or in housing need. We are a charitable organisation and deliver both drop in and residential services in Rochdale and Oldham.

We believe people should have access to safe, secure, quality housing. We help people to develop skills, independence and make positive choices. We believe collaboration with other agencies and organisations is key to creating a world where everyone has a safe place to live.

People often find it difficult to know where to go and who to ask for help, and we try and make this as easy as possible.

We engage with individuals and start to build a relationship with them, which is key to building trust and facilitating positive choices.

We encourage individuals to access appropriate support and can refer them into housing.
