We are looking for an experienced MI Analyst to complement an existing enthusiastic team and help implement data management, data quality and automation across the function for all our clients. The MI Analyst role will support redeveloping the current MI catalogue to fully understand performance and value generation in the activities that they undertake. The role will support operational efficiency, portfolio strategy and decisioning across the recoveries and collections businesses for clients and owned assets.

The role will be based remotely with occasional visits to our Manchester office. 

The role:

  • Onboard portfolios / clients: deal with new reporting requirements and production of templates.
  • Automate and optimize processes.
  • Build and test reporting solutions using different tools.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders across the group to improve data quality, identify and close gaps and harmonize output.
  • Maintain a robust control framework. Document solutions, processes & procedures.
  • Production and ongoing enhancement of regular reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Involvement in key meetings to discuss report insights and to help make business decisions.
  • Support the long-term MI/reproting vision for the business and contribute with ideas based on the business’ and industry requirements.

About you:

  • Proven experience working as an MI Analyst/Interpretation of Data/Information.
  • Comprehensive numeric skills, including the ability to interpret and analyse complex data.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge.
  • MS Excel skills (Power Pivot, Power Query, VBA).
  • Experience with data visualization / reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, etc).
  • Able to Manage own time and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and an ability to effectively communicate at a number of different levels.
  • Degree and/or proven experience in MI, Data, Math or Analytics.
  • Knowledge of working within a regulated enviroment.
