Bromsgrove District Housing Trust (bdht) has an exciting opportunity for an Application Support Officer to join our busy IT Team.
What you will be doing
With a strong customer focus, you will work closely with internal teams to design and build business processes within our Housing System and ensure the processes are streamlined and efficient. This will include maintaining and developing internal contact and repairs diagnostic scripts, which will allow our Customer Advisors to capture all appropriate information when raising contacts, repairs, and cases via the system.
Within this role you will assist in the administration and development of the Core Housing System, including CRM, Repairs, Rent Accounting and Tenancy Management modules, as well as the third-party systems integrated with the Housing System.
You will be the main point of contact for any incidents related to the Housing System and third-party integrations, taking ownership of the incidents from the issues be raised to resolution. Also, the lead for training staff on using the systems and documenting processes and training materials.
About you
Are you customer focused, an excellent communicator, keen on continual business improvement identifying efficiencies by working directly with key stakeholders? Then this role is for you! Technical skills matter, but customer service and communication skills are more important.
We are looking for a confident individual with strong communications skills who can demonstrate the ability to work with internal teams to understand their needs, take ownership and relay the technical information to suppliers. You will be confident to work with external suppliers and customers, to share knowledge and gain insights into what other organisations are doing and what this could bring to the business.
Our ideal candidate is someone who has worked as an Application Lead, Super User, or the go to person to support and find solution to user issues within a system. Previous experience working with QL, Keyfax, Versaa (1st Touch) or DRS would be preferable although this is not essential.
