As a Heating/Gas Engineer, you’ll be the friendly face of One Manchester for the people in our communities.

You’ll carry out the operational duties of a multi-skilled Heating / Gas Engineer across the full range of repairs service on all One Manchester`s owned and managed properties and for external clients. You’ll deliver an efficient gas servicing repairs and maintenance service including planned, responsive, cyclical, void and installation work.
You’ll be dealing with customers face-to-face, so you’ll need to have a great level of customer service and a positive and proactive approach to your work. You’ll need to be self-sufficient and able to work independently.
You’ll have served and completed a recognised heating apprenticeship / appropriate NVQ standard, professional or relevant trade qualification and will demonstrate working knowledge of current legislation relating to H&S, CDM and Gas Servicing, Repairs and Installation works. Customer-focused, you’ll have worked in a customer-facing environment and be able to accurately record, document and complete work activity using a mobile device or other technological device. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to possess a full UK driving licence.
