We have a temporary opportunity to join the asbestos team to cover maternity leave for a period of 9 months. This will be focused on ensuring the group remains fully compliant with all the appropriate Asbestos Legislation.
This role is key to maintaining up to date and validated data, Asbestos administration and documentation of Asbestos related surveys, remedial actions and to ensure our Asbestos Information remains accurate and up to date.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone who has:
• Excellent knowledge of The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012
• Knowledge of CDM (Construction Design Management) Regulations and other related housing regulations/ statutory obligations and how they apply within the context of social housing health and safety compliance.
• Knowledge of building regulations in all areas.
• Knowledge of Orchard Housing system, Business Objects reporting and apex (or similar) Asset Management data base system.
• Knowledge of sheltered and supported housing.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise their workload to ensure deadlines are met.
