As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for delivery of a full range of employment relations and human resource services. One of your main roles will be to provide expert professional advice and support to managers and employees on all aspects of people management, which fully reflects current employment legislation and best practice.
Position: HR Advisor
Location: Customer Solution Centre, Slough, Berkshire
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 8:30am - 5pm
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending upon experience

About the Role:
Work closely with line managers and employees, providing them with expert guidance, coaching and support on the full range of HR activities in order to ensure a consistent and fair approach to people management.
Manage investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters in conjunction with line managers.
Provide advice and guidance on individual employee relations cases.
Support all managers on Performance Management issues, including absence, conduct and Health & Safety.
Contribute to strategies and procedures to promote the health and well-being of employees.
Provide data and reports to the Management Team as required.
Support with the design and implement the Performance Development Review process.
Conduct job evaluations.
Supporting the Resource and Talent Manager on recruitment and selection strategies, as required.
Updating and maintaining the HR Information System data.
Liaise with Occupational Health as required and managing the process.
Providing advice and assistance on policies, procedures, legislation, and enterprise agreements.
Cover for the HR Coordinator as required.
Respond to ad hoc HR queries on a day to day basis.
Undertake ad hoc projects as and when required.

About You:
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of employment legislation as well as the ability to design and amend clear and fair company policies. You will also have excellent organisational and administrative skills, being able to juggle a number of different priorities whilst being able to work under pressure and to deadlines. Strong communication and effective relationship building capabilities with all stakeholders is integral and the ability to advise and work with senior members of staff. You will be driven, determined, practical, logical and a problem-solver.
Proven work experience as an HR Advisor, Consultant or a similar role is key. Experience with HRIS (Cascade - Iris), Microsoft products and Google Suite is beneficial.
