We have an exciting position available for a Senior Income Specialist to join us! 

You’ll help deliver a high-quality income management service to customers, maximising income collection for your designated properties and improving upon performance KPI’s. This includes the responsibility of managing cases through the court process, ensuring compliance with the pre-action protocol, and leading on eviction proceedings in line with One Manchester’s policies and procedures.  

 

What we’re looking for:        

  • Indepth experience of working in the housing sector delivering services to customers providing high quality and effective arrears management.  

  • Experience of coaching and supporting colleagues to achieve KPI’s  

  • Experience of income collection, debt recovery and credit control.  

  • Experience of working in a targeted environment and delivering on KPIs.  

  • Knowledge and experience of the County Court rules and pre-action protocols and procedures, and relevant government legislation, for dealing with debt and experience of successfully presenting cases in Court.  

  • Ability to negotiate, implement and monitor payment arrangements with customers using methods appropriate and sensitive to their circumstances.  

  • Knowledge of the Welfare Benefits system and sign posting for assistance to internal/external agencies.
