The Product & Operations Manager is a pivotal role within the card payment services division of Verastar. The Product & Operations Manager will become an expert in the world of card payments, ensuring the division remains at the forefront of technological developments in the market, and become the go-to person for industry insight.

They will be responsible for the seamless execution of business plans, initiatives and commercial propositions, delivering to a high standard and program timescales, and ensuring their successful integration into the business’ operational departments.

The Product and Operations Manager role involves management and co-ordination of multiple stakeholders, whilst also being very hands-on, with the individual being the lynchpin that ties operational areas together, across the business and with our 3rd party suppliers.

Required Skills / Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project/operations management or process optimization
  • Specific experience in card payment services, telecoms, utilities, insurance, other regulated industry or in a sales/customer-service-focused organisation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly numerate and literate
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in project management / process mapping software
