An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and customer focussed Senior Income Advisor here at Aspire Housing.

We are looking for an experienced and confident rent arrears case manager, who has a history of excellent rent arrears performance. The role consists of a 50/50 split of case work and day to day support for the Income Advisors within the team.

Ideally with supervisory / line management experience, you will ensure service levels, quality standards and performance targets are being achieved and assist the Income Manager in delivering an efficient collection service across all Income streams to maximise income to the Company.

This will include contacting customers that are in arrears with their rent to come to satisfactory arrangements to clear their debt and ensuring that advice and support is offered to customers to enable them to manage their rent account with regards to housing benefit, Universal Credit, welfare benefits and support services offered by the company. The ability to challenge customer behaviour in terms of paying priority debts is essential.

This role requires a passion for making a difference to our customers lives, excellent communication and negotiation skills and the ability to handle difficult conversations.

For more information contact Justine Addison, Income Manager, or Paul Malkin, Head of Customer Services on 01782 854850 and leave a message for a call back.
