We are recruiting for the role of Senior HR Assistant (Resourcing) in our HR Resourcing team, covering recruitment for the organisation on a national level.

 

This role is part of a team based from our National Business Centre in Coventry. We are currently working in a hybrid way combining office days with some home working.

You will be part of our Resourcing and People Transactions team within the wider HR and OD team, as a Senior Resourcing Assistant you will be part of a busy, inclusive team that plays an important role in recruiting talented, motivated and passionate people to work for us, whether that is Social Workers or in our Business Services or Corporate teams Should you join us your tasks will include:

 

  • Creating and implementing effective recruitment plans / timetables by collaborating with Recruiting Managers throughout the recruitment life cycle.
  • Using your excellent communication skills to offer advice, guidance and support to Managers to ensure good recruitment practice is followed while also offering insight on their local area.
  • Liaising with candidates to ensure their experience is timely, inclusive and fair while reflecting our organisational values and policies.
  • Maintenance of recruitment systems so that we have accurate recruitment data to support continuous improvement of our service standards.
  • Working closely with operational HR colleagues to share learning and solve any issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating with Resourcing colleagues to identify creative solutions and working on special projects that will enhance our service to Managers, candidates and the wider organisation.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

  • Ability to prioritise conflicting tasks and manage a challenging workload to high quality standards and timescales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence to deliver at management meetings.
  • Ability to deal tactfully and sensitively with people and have an understanding of confidentiality issues.
  • Ability to adapt to the strategic direction of the organisation and changing priorities across the HR Resourcing and Transactions team.
