Energia have an exciting opportunity for a Senior M & A Financial Modeller based in Dublin. 

This role will be an integral member of our Corporate Development team. Reporting to our Research and Analysis Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the construction, development and ongoing review of financial models which provide high quality and timely financial impact assessments to the Corporate Development team.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to join our team at the early stages of project appraisals, development and investment analysis for the future pipeline of Energia Group projects. The successful candidate can expect to work on include but are not limited to; onshore and offshore wind, solar, battery storage, renewable hydrogen, thermal generation etc.

What you'll need

  • 1-3 years post qualification experience with a degree in a numerate discipline (2:1 minimum).
  • Excellent demonstrable working knowledge of preparing integrated Project Finance models including working knowledge of VBA.
  • Demonstrable experience in producing written reports and presentations for senior management level.
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with a number of multi-disciplinary projects, teams and stakeholders.  
  • Excellent business diagnostic skills and the ability to apply a logical and analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent demonstrable working knowledge of preparing integrated Project Finance models including working knowledge of VBA.
