As expected, we set the bar high when it comes to our engineer recruitment, and we are excited to again expand our UK field service engineer team, to ensure that we continually put our customer service at the heart of our business.   

Proud to be a UK manufacturer, Whale equipment is designed, manufactured, and maintained here in the Midlands at our Solihull facility and head office where our team of experts are willing to help.   

As a Whale Tankers Field Engineer supplied with a stock of parts and consumables, you will enjoy attending our customer sites to carry out routine maintenance and reactive work in breakdown situations, whilst ensuring our customer equipment is repaired both safely and quickly. In a paper free environment, your jobs are sent digitally to your tablet which you will also use to process your accurate job reports upon completion.   

 

Your role responsibilities will include: 

  • Servicing vehicles 

  • On site repairs and commissioning equipment 

  • Ensuring all tools and equipment are calibrated and van stock up to date 

  • Adhere, and work, to Health and Safety regulations and maintaining a clean, organised and productive working area 

  • Completion of all documentation in a timely manner  

  • Building and maintaining customer relations 

 

Prior field service engineer experience is a must, and it is desirable for you to have the skills and knowledge having worked directly within this industry, we recognise that transferable skills are fine but evidenced within a similar industry.   

Ideally, we are recruiting in geographical areas to cover the Southwest, Southeast and the Midlands areas.
