What you'll be doing

The successful Estates Services Supervisors main duties include:

Managing multiple teams to ensure that both our communal and commercial estates, reflect our ambition to provide great properties and places. As Team Leader, you will successfully lead and motivate a team to improve our communal spaces in a resilient environment, scheduling waste removal, specialist cleans and repairs where required. 

  • Co-ordinate day to day transactional work of our Estates Colleagues
  • Act as first point of contact for any escalated customer queries or complaints
  • Deliver effective performance management through a commitment to ensuring high quality team meetings, 1-1 discussions and personal development reviews.
  • Coordinate communal and open spaces to identify issues that affect the quality of their appearance, including the identification of health and safety risks.
  • Identify opportunities for estate improvement projects and work with colleagues to deliver them
  • Devise and deliver development sessions to ensure our Estates Colleagues have the core competencies to deliver excellent services.
  • Identify any training of development opportunities for the team
  • Ensure the team promote customer engagement in service delivery and that regular feedback is obtained from customers, contractors and partners.
  • Provide monthly performance reports to the Head of Estates Services and embed performance workflows within the team to deliver service excellence.
  • Monitor estates against the photobook standard and agreed Key Performance Indicators, creating action plans to address shortfalls.
  • Engage customers in the way we deliver services, requesting feedback and closing the loop.

 

More about you

 

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with scheduling and coordination skills, confident using applications such as MS Excel and MS Office.

The role involves managing a proactive & responsive team ensuring that service delivery, quality assurance and customer engagement targets are met

 

As an Estates Supervisor, you will

  • Be organised and responsive, with the ability to deliver under pressure.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage a range of services with competing priorities
  • Demonstrate my ability to maintain information systems and keep accurate records.
  • Demonstrate excellent IT skills with up to date knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Have experience of putting in place new working practices, systems or procedures.
