This is a {Advertised Permanent / Temporary}, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

HMS are recruiting Painter/Decorators to work as part of an integrated team for the delivery of a first-class construction and maintenance service.

 

This is an important role in which you will:

  • Carry out all types of Painting / Decorating work both internally and externally, including paper hanging, artexing and remedial works.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks as necessary.
  • Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to achieve desired results.
  • Hang wallpaper and apply decorative finishes such as stencils or murals if required.
  • Protect surrounding areas from paint and other finishes during application.
  • Repair and refurbish existing paintwork and surfaces as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and project managers to coordinate projects and ensure timely completion.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Operate within a scheduled appointment systems including liaison with customers and other team members.
  • Use any communication or IT equipment to facilitate the job role.
  • Drive company vehicles in a careful and professional manner.

 

To be successful in this role you will:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Painting and Decorating or associated Discipline
  • CSCS card at appropriate level
  • Full UK or EU driving license
