The Vacancy
HMS are recruiting Plumbers to join an integrated team delivering a first-class construction and maintenance service.
This is an important role in which you will:
Carry out all types of plumbing work both internally and externally including new installations, maintenance, and remedial works.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems across a variety of housing units.
Install fixtures and appliances such as water heaters, toilets, and sinks as part of refurbishment projects.
Respond promptly to emergency call-outs, providing efficient and effective solutions.
Work closely with the maintenance team to plan and execute projects, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
Maintain clear and respectful communication with residents, ensuring they are informed of work being carried out and any disruptions are minimized.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, and ensure all work is performed to industry standards.
Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
Operate within a scheduled appointment systems or a defined programme of works.
Utilise IT and communications equipment.
Avail of individual and corporate training and development.
Deliver recognised industry standards for compliance, quality, and productivity.
Drive a company van.
To be successful in this role you need:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plumbing or Craft Discipline.
CSCS card at appropriate level.
Time served apprenticeship.
Experience of Plumbing, building maintenance & construction activities.
Full UK or EU driving license.

We use DocuSign for digitally signed documents. You may be required to sign a contract, offer and/or other documents if you are successful. You will not have to create an account with them and we only pass on the minimum amount of data required to allow them to carry out their operations.
