The Vacancy
HMS are recruiting Groundworkers to join an integrated team for the delivery of a first-class construction and maintenance service.
This is an important role in which you will:
Perform a variety of groundworks tasks, including digging, trenching, concreting, and laying drainage systems.
Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure work is completed to the highest standards, on time and within budget.
Conduct site preparations for new constructions and refurbishments, including setting out and leveling.
Install and maintain pathways, patios, and other landscaping elements to enhance outdoor living spaces.
Operate within a scheduled appointment systems or a defined programme of works.
Utilise IT and communications equipment.
Undertake individual or corporate training and development.
Drive a company van.
To be successful in this role you need:
Maintenance / Construction NVQ level 1/2.
Relevant CSCS card or affiliated scheme.
Relevant experience in a similar role.
Full UK or EU driving license.

We use CV Parsing as part of our application process. It will automatically populate answers to questions based on content within your CV. You have the ability to edit all answers and you must check they are correct before submission.
Document Signing
We use DocuSign for digitally signed documents. You may be required to sign a contract, offer and/or other documents if you are successful. You will not have to create an account with them and we only pass on the minimum amount of data required to allow them to carry out their operations.
Our recruitment process requires that we contact the referees provided by you as part of our checks to ascertain suitability of employment. The content of the reference will not be shared without the referee's permission..
