HMS are recruiting Groundworkers to join an integrated team for the delivery of a first-class construction and maintenance service.

 

This is an important role in which you will:

  • Perform a variety of groundworks tasks, including digging, trenching, concreting, and laying drainage systems.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
  • Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure work is completed to the highest standards, on time and within budget.
  • Conduct site preparations for new constructions and refurbishments, including setting out and leveling.
  • Install and maintain pathways, patios, and other landscaping elements to enhance outdoor living spaces.
  • Operate within a scheduled appointment systems or a defined programme of works.
  • Utilise IT and communications equipment.
  • Undertake individual or corporate training and development.
  • Drive a company van.

 

To be successful in this role you need:

  • Maintenance / Construction NVQ level 1/2.
  • Relevant CSCS card or affiliated scheme.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Full UK or EU driving license.
