Oracle Implementation and Continuous Improvement Lead

This is a Temporary, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We have a fixed term vacancy for an Oracle Implementation and Continuous Improvement Lead to manage the system transition and continuous improvement requirements for a number of our clients.  The ideal candidate will have experience of working in payroll services and should have experience of successfully implementing Oracle Fusion Payroll systems including process improvements and driving through change management. They will be expected to bring strong implementation project experience to all aspects of the designated contracts. They will provide the required focus to deliver outstanding contract performance by driving a program of continual improvement to existing services ensuring that robust controls are in place to provide accuracy of processing and mitigate against errors.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain internal project plans, for the Oracle implementation projects. Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and objectives.
  • Continuously monitor progress and identify any deviations, risks, or issues.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals, priorities, and timelines.
  • Develop a set of continuous improvement initiatives arising from the Oracle implementation projects
  • Design & Implement quality control and checking measures for the Oracle payrolls
  • Assist in change management efforts related to Oracle implementation projects, ensuring changes are well-documented, communicated, and executed effectively.
  • Produce a set of standard operating procedures/process maps and User Guide for the Oracle service delivery model.
  • Ensure processes and procedures comply with regulatory and compliance requirements while maintaining accurate records.
  • Train team members in accordance with the SOPs and process maps keeping records of training outcomes

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Educated to degree level or an equivalent level of experience.
  • Professional qualification or an equivalent level of experience.
  • Proven experience in Oracle implementation projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to communicate and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project streams simultaneously.
  • Experience in change management, risk management, and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of payroll quality assurance principles and compliance requirements.
