The Home

This role will be over two homes located on the same site. Slemish Nursing home is based on the Broughshane Road, with a new learning disability- Holmes Court which has been newly built behind. 

The Role

Under directions, delivers an efficient and affective maintenance service within Healthcare Ireland unit to assist in the well-being, safety, and comfort of residents.

The Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a well decorated, safe, and comfortable environment.
  • Ensures that Healthcare Ireland’s minimum standards are delivered in all units.
  • Identifies and report damage, faults, and other related issues to line manager.
  • Liaises with local contractors on site, as required, providing local knowledge and guidance in order that maintenance schedules can be on time.
  • Deliver bloods, collect scripts and drive to suppliers when needed.

You will need:

  • Valid Driving License and use of a car for company business.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy are minimum requirement.
  • The Right to Work in the UK
  • One year experience in general work experience in maintenance.
