Ocean Housing has great new opportunity to support with a bid project within their Property Services Energy team.

Our Fixed Term position as the Property Services Data Analyst will be extracting, preparing, monitoring, analysing and reporting data relating to the Energy Improvement programme.

You will be supporting the Energy Improvement team with the submission of a comprehensive bid for funding from the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) through provision of meaningful data analysis and modelling. 

It will be ensuring that data held within the data management system (Aareon QL) is complete and accurate which will be used with reporting and funding bid submissions. It will also be used with the implementation of projects identified by the Senior Property Services Manager (Assets and Energy), which will deliver service improvements and efficiencies.

Further specific responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all data held is correct; identify missing data and facilitate gathering and updating of QL to ensure records are complete and accurate.
  • Analyse and cross check data held on Ocean’s database provided by internal sources, external stakeholders and government Energy Performance Database to ensure consistency of data.
  • In conjunction with the Energy Lead, use ‘CHROM’ and other available tools, eg Google Streetmaps, to analyse and use data to model possible options for energy install and retrofit programmes of work
  • Liaise with funding consortium representatives and colleagues as appropriate to assist with formulating the funding bid proposal.
  • Create, maintain and provide regular progress reports against agreed project timelines

Experience of extracting and analysing data and presenting results clearly along with experience of using Excel to a high level is essential.

You will have good working knowledge and experience of using computerised databases, an understanding of MS365 applications, Sharepoint and OneDrive functionality.

You will be educated to A Level or level 3 qualification grade A-C or equivalent.

The position is offered on a Fixed Term basis for 6 months on a full time basis (37 hours a week, Mon-Fri)
