This is a {Advertised Permanent / Temporary}, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

HMS are recruiting Tilers to join an integrated team delivering a first-class construction and maintenance service.

 

This is an important role in which you will:

  • Carry out all types of Tiling work both internally and externally including remedial works.
  • Install tile surfaces, including floors, walls, and countertops, in kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas of housing units.
  • Repair and replace damaged or outdated tiles to maintain the integrity and appearance of housing units.
  • Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, levelling, and applying adhesives or mortar as necessary.
  • Measure and cut tiles to fit around obstacles and create seamless patterns.
  • Ensure tile installations are completed efficiently and according to design specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members and contractors to coordinate project timelines and resources.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Utilise IT and communications equipment.
  • Operate within a scheduled appointment systems or a defined programme of works.
  • Avail of individual and corporate training and development.
  • Deliver recognised industry standards for compliance, quality, and productivity.
  • Undertake the supervision and training of apprentices.
  • Drive a company van.

 

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Craft City and Guilds or NVQ level 3
  • Time served apprenticeship
  • CSCS card at appropriate level
