Do you have a passion for customer service and possess a can do attitude? Do you have a good eye for fashion old and new, or knowledge of bric-a-brac and antiques? If yes, then this could be the position for you, as we are looking for a Shop Manager in our Torpoint Shop!

We are looking for somebody who will take responsibility for every aspect of the shop’s operation, maximising sales and profit and driving consistent standards throughout.

Through developing and maintaining excellent relationships with both customers and donors, you will drive to achieve agreed budgets and targets by maximising sales and controlling direct shop expenses. The role also involves the recruitment and training of a motivated team of paid staff and volunteers.

You will ensure all aspects of shop management, including administration and banking, recruitment and management of volunteer staff & all health and safety requirements are adhered to. Previous retail or charity work experience is desirable, and an ability to demonstrate personal flexibility is essential. The successful candidates will promote the work of the hospice.
