This is a 39 Hours per week, Temporary vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

Plumber

  • £34,178 per annum plus additional allowances
  • 39 Hours per week (Mon – Fri)
  • Location - Magna Sites across Dorset and South Somerset.
  • Access to a van, uniform and all power tools are provided.
  • 12-Month Fixed Term Contract:   Following review in 2025, this role may present the opportunity for extension.

The role & what you take care of: 

Magna have exciting opportunity for a customer-focused, highly motivated Plumber to join our Customer Experience and Home Services Team. In this role, you'll be responsible for carrying out plumbing repairs and other trade related works in our customer’s homes.

By joining our team, you'll work alongside dedicated individuals who are committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience and contributing to our success.

  • From the initial reporting of the job to completion, you will play a key part in delivering the work to a high standard and within current legislation.
  • You will take part in the Out of Hours Rota once every 10 to 12 weeks, for which you will receive an additional pay allowance.

What you need to be successful: 

  • Time served apprenticeship or C&G/NVQ in plumbing. A minimum of 1 year’s post qualification experience.
  • Associated multi-skilled trades (e.g. Carpentry) would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • You must hold a full driving license.
  • You will need basic IT literacy skills, as the role utilises an iPad to receive and complete jobs.

This post is subject to a Basic Level Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
