Reporting to our Regional Business Development Manager, you will be working as part of our high performing Sterile Goods Management (SGM) team, which specialises in the provision of cutting edge medical and clinical supplies.  The product portfolio includes Surgical Instruments and Sterile Container Systems.

You will have a real opportunity to make an impact, by taking a pro-active approach to ensure effective strategies and tactics are implemented to achieve business growth and sales within the portfolio.

Here's what you can expect to be doing…

  • Achieving sales targets set for your territory by developing winning and repeatable sales strategies
  • Developing strong relationships with key customers
  • Attending exhibitions, meetings, demonstrations and workshops as required, both locally and nationally
  • Supporting the sales from Aesculap Consultancy Services projects as appropriate
  • Developing and working to an agreed business development plan
  • Using Salesforce.com to keep accurate business and call records
  • Keeping abreast of developments and trends within the territory in order to supply accurate information for consideration in forecasting and budget proposals

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Proven experience of working within a medical sales position
  • Experience of working within a theatre environment and surgical sales would be desirable
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers
  • Able to work to own initiative, to take the lead and make things happen
  • Ability to both recognise and seek new business opportunities
  • Enthusiastic, driven and motivated with a competitive attitude
  • Full UK Driving Lisense
