What you'll be doing
Curo, a leading Housing Association based in Bath, is seeking a well organised individual to take on the role of Information Request Assistant.
We are happy to talk flexible working, including some home working, but the successful candidate will be expected to work from our Bath office for at least three days a week.
What you'll be doing
You’ll be a key part of our Data and Insight Team – responding to data protection and other information requests from our customers and other people.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include liaison with customers about their requests; working with colleagues across the organisation to make sure we provide the right information; and reviewing and redacting information to make sure it’s safe to disclose. You’ll also help with more general data protection matters, supporting the Data Protection Manager to promote a good culture around data protection and access to information at Curo.
It will be a fast-paced environment, with lots of deadlines - but you’ll work as part of the wider Governance, Strategy, and Insight Directorate, where we all pitch in and help each other out as we need to.
Why join Curo?
At Curo, we're not just about providing housing—we're about building futures. We believe our colleagues are the cornerstone of our success, and we're committed to ensuring each colleague has the opportunity to grow, learn, and advance. With our forward-thinking strategy, we're constantly exploring a wide range of dynamic projects and career progression opportunities designed to inspire and engage.
We embrace a values-driven culture that revolves around Care, Respect, Openness, Fairness, and Trust.
Whether you're looking to make a difference in the community, develop your skills, or take your career to the next level, Curo is the place where your ambitions become achievements.
More about you
You’ll be friendly and approachable, with a ‘can do’ attitude. You’ll also have great attention to detail, and be an excellent communicator: able to work with a wide variety of people and explain sometimes quite complicated matters to them. Ideally, you’ll have some understanding of data protection already. At a minimum, you’ll have experience of working with sensitive and/or confidential information.
You’ll also be efficient and well-organised, and able to juggle lots of different tasks.
You’ll be enthused by Curo’s mission ‘Homes for Good’ and really believe in what we do. At the same time you will demonstrate resilience and the desire to work in an interesting environment where no day is ever the same!
When and where you'll be doing it
You’ll be primarily based at our head office, The Maltings, in Bath, but we happy to talk about flexible working.
What you’ll get in return
We think you’ll have a job that makes you feel good about what you’re doing and help us to make a difference to our customers’ lives every day.
So in return for all your hard work, not only do our Information request assistant get a great salary but we also offer:
