Are you a compassionate and visionary leader, with a knack for navigating complex care? The Wilf Ward Family Trust is seeking an inspiring CQC Registered Manager to oversee our intimate 12-bed complex care service, Sherburn House, in Knaresborough. Where we provide exceptional support for adults (range of ages) with profound physical and multiple learning disabilities.

Your role will be to provide a bespoke level of leadership to enable our staff team to make a positive difference to the lives of individuals who live here. We are looking for a caring Manager, ideally with experience of working with complex individuals, and the capacity to empower a staff team to provide outstanding care.

Key aspects of this role are to help shape and deliver the strategy in your areas of influence and across the wider Trust.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead with Vision: Guide and empower a dedicated, relatively new, care team to deliver exceptional, individualised care.
  • Ensure Excellence: Maintain the highest standards of care and compliance within CQC regulations.
  • Personalise Care: Develop and manage comprehensive care plans tailored to everyone’s unique needs.
  • Connect & Collaborate: Build strong relationships with individuals we support, families and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.

What You'll Bring:

  • Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
  • Experience: Proven management experience in a complex care setting.
  • Skills: Stellar leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Passion: A heartfelt commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the individuals we support.
