Our platform engineering team plays a crucial role in enabling our other engineering teams to be successful. The products and tools that our platform teams build help to simplify complex processes, reduce effort and accelerate delivery across all other teams, whilst ensuring we meet the highest standards.

What will your day look like?

•    As a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer within the platform engineering team, you will play a key role in delivering the future of our Cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
•    Be part of a team of talented platform engineers, ensuring that our solutions are robust, scalable, and secure
•    Collaborate across multiple teams, understanding our business needs, and ensuring that our cloud platforms are always aligned with our company's goals and vision
•    Strive to provide effective self-service capabilities that benefit all engineering teams
•    Continuously seek to understand and improve the platform capabilities you help to deliver
•    Lead the conversation with Functional Squads on best practices and reusability

What do we expect from you?
•    Significant experience in a similar role with demonstrable experience deploying AWS infrastructure
•    Significant experience managing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
•    Significant experience of managing Pipeline-as-Code and Configuration-as-Code with shift left mindset using Gitlab or other tools
•    Strong understanding of microservice architecture patterns
•    Proven experience working with Java Spring boot based services
•    Proven experience working in a continuous delivery environment
•    Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate between technical and non technical language
•    Experience with any Internal Developer Platform tool although a nice to have
