Position: Lecturer in Travel, Tourism & Aviation                

Salary: £30,416 - £37,484 per annum (pro-rated for part time) 

Contract: Fixed Term for 12 months

Location: Sheffield

Hours: 18.5 hours per week x 52 weeks per year

About the Role

We require a lecturer to join our award-winning department to teach Level 2 and Level 3 Travel, Tourism and Aviation. You will be teaching alongside an established team and working towards our learners gaining the best experience that will enable them to continue on their journey into a rewarding career in industry.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Formal teaching in a vibrant classroom environment
  • Assessment and feedback of learner work
  • Development of teaching and learning materials
  • Ensuring assessments are planned and feedback is given in a timely manner
  • Ensure an inclusive learning environment

Skills & Knowledge

  • Qualified to at least level 3 in a relevant subject area
  • Excellent teaching and assessment skills

  • Up to date CPD or recent experience in a industry role
