Paralegal Apprentice

The vacancy
Based at our EMEA headquarters office in London and working closely with the senior members of the Legal & Compliance team as well as directly with the Head of Legal & Compliance for EMEA, this person will be provide support for a wide range of corporate, compliance and legal matters
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing legal and factual research tasks;
- Writing concise memoranda to summarise research results;
- Preparing correspondence;
- Preparing reports and basic notes of advice.
- Liaising with internal and external counsel;
- Triage of legal matters to ensure efficient allocation within the Legal & Compliance team;
- Reviewing and analysing documents;
- Supporting with Company Secretarial matters;
- Proofreading and checking cross-references; and
- Maintenance of Legal & Compliance databases.
Qualifications Required
- 96 UCAS Points (3 A-Levels or equivalent grades A-C)
Personal Qualities Required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Displays a keen interest in the application of relevant legal principles;
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills; • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to locate specific items on the internet;
- Has an enthusiasm and willingness to work as part of a team and demonstrates flexibility with assigned tasks;
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with or without direct supervision and coordinate multiple tasks; and
- Organised, with good time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple workstreams
