Contract:            NSG Business Support, Part Time, Permanent

                             This role is Term Time only – 36 weeks

Hours:                  25 hours per week including evening and weekend work

Pension:              NEST Pension Scheme   

About the College

• Middlesbrough College is the largest General Further Education College in the Tees Valley and has been situated in Middlehaven, Middlesbrough, since 2008.  It has developed from the initial main site to the vibrant campus that is now in place with our Campus Heart, dedicated Sixth Form, STEM Centre, Higher Education Centre, and further development for our apprentices in progress.

About the role  

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Food Service Assistant.

The Food Service Assistant will report directly to the Catering Manager and assist in the preparation, cooking, delivery, and presentation of all meals for service, at the required times and to the required standards, as detailed by the tariffs and menus displayed.

The successful candidate will:  

• Current experience of working in a food preparation and service environment.
• Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards.
• To hold a Basic Certificate in Food Hygiene.
• Food service skills.
