We are seeking an innovative and motivated individual to coordinate Work Experience for our learners at the College. Our quest is to provide all students with the opportunities to gain real-life outstanding of the workplace, and support them to practice the skills needed to access their next steps, whether in future education or employment.

You have excellent organisation, planning and communication (particularly persuasion and negotiation) skills, you are good at multi-tasking, able to adapt to change and work in different environments, ideally with a good rounded knowledge of a number of different industries. You use SMART strategies to work efficiently and can competently use digital applications such as Word, Excel and tracking and monitoring systems.
You are confident working and liaising with people from all walks of life, and able to demonstrate key emotional intelligence attributes including congruence and empathy. You are results driven and have a proven track record for achieving targets and deadlines. You are a critical yet creative thinker with the ability to generate lateral solutions, and your positive mindset ensures you calmly and effectively achieve the desired outcome.
You will employ your skills to network and develop strong sustainable relationships with external agencies and employers to generate new opportunities. You will match, record and review work experience, placements and encounters for our students. You will also participate in the development and implementation of cross college-enterprise and work skills engagement activities and events.
We will be eager to invest in your CPD, enhancing your potential abilities to successfully execute the role’s key responsibilities, we will support you to achieve your personal career goals.
We are not looking for someone that has necessarily worked in this type of role before, we are committed to training and developing the right person, with the underpinning experience and attributes to enable us to be successful.
