We have a fantastic opportunity for a full time permanent Heavy Forklift straddle carrier Driver in our busy depot based in BRFT ( Dordon ) Tamworth If you have previous experience in Forklift truck work with proof of a licence with at least 2 years’ experience then this could be the opportunity for you.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading various sizes and weights of ISO shipping containers.
  • Stacking containers in allocated areas.
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery and a reasonable knowledge of how the machine works.

 

We are looking for candidates to apply who have the following:

  • A flexible approach and can undertake a variety of production duties
  • High level of focus under pressure to deliver an accurate and punctual service to our customers and colleagues
  • Fork lift Truck experience or proof of a Forklift truck certificate within the last 5 years’ experience
  •  The ability to operate empty / loaded container handlers – Desirable not essential as full training will be provided
  • Have your own transport

The flexibility to be able to work a 3 shift working pattern when required
