The Royal College of Physicians is recruiting a Global Marketing and Membership Engagement Officer to work within the Membership Engagement team.

Purpose and scope

Key responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering an annual marketing plan to support global engagement activity.
  • Providing pro-active communications for our members including regular e-newsletters, social media activity and event support.
  • Managing the online presence, ensuring content is relevant, up-to-date and timely. 
  • Attending meetings and events to stay up-to-date with global health and the challenges of international doctors.
  • Working closely with stakeholders.
  • Devising and coordinating paid advertising campaigns across social media channels.
  • Measuring and reporting on agreed KPIs to assess the success of planned activity.

About you

  • Experience within a marketing, communications, or engagement environment.
  • Understanding of the range of communications and engagement tools, and the marketing mix.
  • An interest and understanding of the healthcare sector and the medical/political landscape.
  • A motivated, enthusiastic, autonomous worker, who also works well within a wider team.
