We wish to recruit a dynamic Senior Account Manager to join the team.  Reporting to the Business Process Services Director, the role will be responsible for the account management of Liberata’s Capacitygrid Business Process Services function.  This is a nationwide role and there will be a requirement to travel to meet with colleagues and clients, but a large proportion of the post holder’s time could be spent working remotely. 

The post holder will be responsible for supporting and leading the Client Management team and generating revenue and growth across Liberata’s Capacitygrid Business Process Services.  This will include the implementation of products and services to local authorities and other sectors, and the identification and closing of new and repeat business opportunities.

This role requires an individual with a proven track record of developing and implementing account management strategies matched to commercial objectives. The individual must have excellent communication and management skills to build effective relationships both internally within Liberata and externally within client and business partner organisations. 

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Achieve Capacitygrid business plan through effective leadership and account management of products and services.
  • Support and lead the Client Management team to achieve sales and growth targets.
  • Manage the sales pipeline for all Capacitygrid services and Debt Assist, including commercial and proposition support.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction to increase renewal and upselling success.
  • Keep key stakeholders updated to ensure results and revenue can be tracked against forecast.
  • Identify opportunities to improve products and enhance services.
  • Work in conjunction with Marketing to define and execute new sales campaigns.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree-level education or an equivalent level of experience. 
  • Significant marketing experience and a proven track record of developing and implementing account management strategies matched to commercial objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of working across the public sector and experience of achieving growth in a range of markets.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Sound problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify new revenue opportunities. 
  • Highly developed organisational skills.
