Commercial Assistant

The Vacancy

We are looking for an organised Commercial Assistant to join our team. This role will be working with our fantastic and friendly commercial team supporting our Remote Services sector as well as helping with general marketing and PR.
Work location: Felixstowe
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Cost Management:
- Source supplier costs for freight forwarding activities across various modes of transport.
- Providing rate quotations to customers.
Marketing and PR:
- Assist in designing, producing, and maintaining marketing and PR materials.
- Update and maintain the Group PR profile on social media and the company website.
Administrative Support:
- Book travel arrangements for senior management and other staff.
- Manage visa requirements as needed.
- Conduct market and competitor research.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a logistics or freight forwarding environment, preferred but not essential
- Training provided
