Job Overview

The Property Manager will be responsible for delivering all aspects of the property management for an urban leisure and retail destination in one of the North West’s fastest growing centres.

Working with an on-site operations team, the role involves service charge budgeting and reconciliation, tenant relations, and supporting value add through rent reviews, lease renewals and development projects.

 

Core Role

You will undertake a wide range of activities including:

  • Processing tenant requests to alter and assign
  • Maintaining accurate property records
  • Service charge budgeting (in conjunction with operations team)
  • Service charge reconciliation (in conjunction with operations and finance colleagues)
  • Billing and credit control support
  • Rent reviews
  • Lease renewals / re-gears
  • Leasing
  • Supporting development / re-purposing projects
  • Supporting other capex projects

 

Essential requirements

  • Positive, problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Basic / intermediate IT skills (Word, Excel, Power Point etc)
  • Related degree and understanding of landlord and tenant law, especially commercial
  • Understanding of key property health and safety legislation
  • Understanding of RICS Codes and Guidance requirements
  • Previous property or asset management experience

 

Desirable skills

  • MRICS status
  • Knowledge of MRI or similar databases
