SEND at LEYF
Some of our nurseries have a higher number of neurodivergent children. We provide inclusive environments where every child can thrive. To achieve this, we have a dedicated SEND team that supports across all our nurseries, providing guidance, advice and training so that you can provide the best education and care to all children.
“My passion is to unlock each child's potential no matter how challenging this may be.” - Julia, SENDCo
"We see the impact on the child and their family, supporting children to be more independent and ready for the rest of their life into adulthood is the ultimate aim.” - Maria, SEND Manager
“The impact is big. It’s not just on the children, it’s the families, and our LEYF teachers grow as they get more confident with great training and support.” - Enisa, SEND Advisor
About the Nursery
Stockwell Gardens Nursery & Pre-School, just a 3-minute walk from Stockwell tube station, offers fantastic facilities, including an all-singing sensory room and a spacious outdoor courtyard. The nursery is an inclusive setting, thoughtfully supporting a diverse range of children, including those with SEND, creating a nurturing and adaptable environment for all. Children enjoy activities like yoga, gardening, and participating in local community events such as the Stockwell street carnival. Parents praise the nursery for its caring, dedicated staff and nurturing atmosphere, with one parent noting, "This nursery has nurtured my son and taught him so much." It’s a welcoming, family-oriented setting that provides a fantastic opportunity for passionate educators to join a supportive and enthusiastic team.
