Clarke Telecom is seeking an experienced Rigger to join our team, working on mobile telecommunications projects across the UK. This role is essential in delivering high-quality rigging services for major network providers. The successful candidate will work closely with the Rigging Team Leader, assisting with the installation, alignment, and testing of antennas, feeders, fibres, and associated telecoms equipment while ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and in line with customer specifications.

The role requires someone with experience in the mobile telecommunications industry, strong IT skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities will include installing and aligning antennas, feeders, and other telecoms equipment, ensuring compliance with Clarke Telecom’s health and safety policies, and conducting testing using tools such as SPAA005, Site Master, PIM tester, and fibre testers to identify and resolve any faults. The rigger will also liaise with customer Radio Planners when required, ensuring installations meet precise requirements, and will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and submitting electronic handover reports.

The role involves working on various sites across the UK, requiring flexibility for late shifts, weekend work, and overnight stays. Candidates must hold an Advanced Climbing Certification, First Aid at Heights, and a valid UK driving licence. While experience with rope access and high-voltage pylon work is desirable, it is not essential. Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work are key attributes for this position.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and safety-conscious rigger to join a fast-paced, growing company with strong career development prospects.

This is a full-time role of 50 hours per week. Candidates must be based within the Somerset area.
