Are you a calm, compassionate person who thrives at night and wants to make a real difference in people’s lives?

We’re looking for a Night Mental Health Support Worker to join our CQC-registered, 12-bed residential service for adults with complex mental health needs. Working overnight, you’ll be a reassuring presence helping individuals feel safe, respected, and well-supported during the quietest hours of the day.

This is a waking nights role. You will be working 20:45 - 07:15, 37.5 hours per week on a 7 day rota.

What you’ll do:

  • Stay present, awake, and alert throughout the night, responding to needs and incidents with a calm, therapeutic approach
  • Carry out welfare and safety checks in line with individual support plans
  • Promote healthy sleep routines and create a peaceful, trauma-informed environment
  • Support medication routines, including administration and self-medication

What you’ll bring:

  • A genuine passion for supporting people with mental health needs
  • Experience in a care, support, or clinical setting (personal or professional)
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and respond to distress with empathy
