OVERALL SUMMARY

Join the TrinityBridge Commercial Strategy Team where you will provide key insights through data analysis, and visualisation enhancements that will drive business decisions. The Data & Analytics Lead for Bespoke Investment Management will be the point of call for all data enquires within this Bespoke division, with the overarching mandate to resolve data inconsistencies at source within the business specifically related to Bespoke Investment Management.

Working closely with the Bespoke Investment Management Finance Business Partners, this role will have a solid understanding of financial metrics within an Asset Management business, such as net flows and revenue margin. This role will deliver enhanced management information (MI) to illustrate a Bespoke Investment Manager's (BIM's) client base, leading to greater clarity to drive decision making that match our business objectives. Thinking about how data is presented in fresh ways, and then creating dashboards to represent a chosen theme will be a key attribute for the individual who thrives in this role.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the data quality, leading to any data cleansing where required.
  • Support the monitoring of New Business Acquisition hires and assets against anticipated inflow margins and Asset Under Management targets, ensuring profitability.
  • Support the business in delivering on transformational projects and initiatives where data input and data quality is required.
  • Use data insights to promote resource support initiatives to teams with high client referrals, segmenting assets.
  • Produce and review MI to illustrate a BIM's client base by family group, comparing AUM, margin, revenue, and cost of service.
  • Produce MI to inform and educate BIMs on their cost/income ratio, aiming to improve this ratio.
  • Use data insights to promote segmentation of smaller clients to junior team members or in-house products to reduce service costs for teams.
  • Assist our Finance Business Partners to produce detailed MI of both direct and central support costs, ensuring allocations are understood and correct, challenging where required.
  • Assess the value add to each cost within the Bespoke cost base, ensuring value is attributed and realised, both financially and non-financially.
  • Support the Commercial Strategy Manager in reviewing clients for fee adjustments, ensuring changes align with Consumer Duty rules.
  • Outline clearer definitions of new business sources to understand revenue contributions and create plans for investment.

Regulatory responsibilities ¦ Compliance/T&C

  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role, whilst practising effective risk management taking account of outcomes for clients.
  • Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business. Follow principles and rules of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the internal requirements set out in the Compliance Manual, local and Group Compliance and Risk policies.
  • Ensure all current and new and initiatives relating to the role comply with relevant industry regulations and standards, while regularly reviewing and update processes to align with new regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and manage regulatory risks associated with performance data projects where required.
  • Oversee data protection measures to ensure compliance with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR).
  • Ensure that digital tools and processes used in new initiatives and transformation projects adhere to data security and privacy regulations.
  • Comply with the PA Dealing policy.
  • Ensure required mandatory training is kept up to date and completed within the set timeframe given by TrinityBridge.

  • Strong IT skills, particularly in data analysis and MI production.
  • Knowledge and experience using M365 applications including PowerBI, PowerApps and Dynamics will be a plus.

  • Proactive and able to demonstrate initiative.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
