OVERALL SUMMARY

We are seeking a proactive and experienced person to join our friendly communications team and support the ongoing development, delivery and governance of FRESH, our new wrap-around intranet platform on SharePoint.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that FRESH serves our all our colleagues but particularly our client-facing business effectively by delivering a hub to provides all the resources and support they need to deliver the best client experience and enhances their experience of doing so. This requires high-quality content, streamlined processes, and robust governance frameworks.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the evolution of our intranet, ensuring it becomes an indispensable resource for our all colleagues. RESPONSIBILITIES

Content audit and management

  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing content on FRESH to assess quality, relevance, and alignment with our new name and brand.
  • Work with teams around the business to implement necessary updates, including branding and renaming, to ensure consistency and accuracy across all content.
  • Evaluate content from remaining business areas on the legacy intranet that have yet to migrate, developing a strategic plan for their integration into FRESH.

Governance and process development

  • Collaborate with IT and our SharePoint Manager to establish and document processes and governance structures for the ongoing management of FRESH.
  • Develop and implement intranet policies and standards to ensure effective and engaging content that meets business needs. 

Stakeholder engagement and training

  • Organise and lead workshops with teams from Wealth Planning and Bespoke business areas to content plan, design and implement best-practice sites tailored for Financial Planners, Client Service Executives (CSEs), Investment Managers, and leadership teams.
  • Provide training and support to content owners and editors, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools required for their roles.

Continuous improvement and analytics

  • Monitor intranet usage and engagement through analytics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements to ensure FRESH remains a cutting-edge tool for the organisation.
     

Regulatory responsibilities ¦ Compliance/T&C

  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role, whilst practising effective risk management taking account of outcomes for clients.
  • Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business. Follow principles and rules of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the internal requirements set out in the Compliance Manual, local and Group Compliance and Risk policies.

Qualifications and experience

  • Proven experience in delivering and managing content for intranet platforms within professional services environments.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint and its application in intranet development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, facilitating workshops and training sessions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Desirable skills

  • Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principles.
  • Experience in driving user adoption of new M365 technologies.
  • Knowledge of content management systems and web analytics tools.
