As a strings teacher with us, you will play a crucial role in developing the skills and musical passion of our students. This role is not just about teaching techniques but also about motivating pupils to better understand and appreciate the broad and exciting world of string playing and repertoire in the 21st century. You will be responsible for nurturing their talent, exploring their potential and guiding them through an immersive educational journey across the culturally and geographically diverse city of Birmingham.

We are interested in candidates with experience in the following areas:

  • Small group/one-on-one teaching (all ages up to 18)
  • Whole class instrumental teaching
  • Ensemble direction (from beginner to advanced)
  • Experience working with children with additional needs (in mainstream and special schools)
  • Strong knowledge of music repertoire and examination systems (from beginner to advanced)
