With a heritage dating back to 1938, SRSL is committed to responsible stewardship, aiming to protect and enhance its legacy for future generations.
SRSL's operations include the management of luxury hotels such as the Athenaeum Hotel in London’s Mayfair, and boutique hotels, which encompasses the Francis Hotel in Bath and the Castle Hotel in Windsor. In the agricultural and property sector, SRSL oversees mixed farming operations, with farms in Lincolnshire, Berkshire and multiple properties across London.
The company has ambitious growth aspirations over the next 10 years and this role will be influential in developing an ESG strategy that aligns with these objectives. It is a unique opportunity to be leading ESG and designing a strategy that can synergise with the company’s growth ambitions.
Role Overview
The ESG Manager will lead the development and implementation of SRSL's ESG strategy, ensuring that environmental, social, and governance considerations are integrated into all aspects of the company's operations. This role requires a highly energetic, strategic thinker, self-starter with a strong foundation in ESG principles and a passion for driving sustainable practices across diverse sectors.
This position offers a distinctive opportunity to create meaningful ESG synergies between these business units—particularly by connecting sustainable agricultural practices with the hospitality arm of the group. The role has the opportunity to identify and develop integrated sustainability initiatives that bring the portfolio together and creates a meaningful unique proposition to our customers.
